Electronic Ballast Technology

Showcased here is a unique Electronic Ballast Technology in the prototype form, developed, successfully tested and certified for the first time ever (from internationally approved laboratories), as per the important parameters of Indian Standards for testing of Electronic Ballasts. International product quality and marketability is ensured as the Indian Standards (ISI) for the Electronic Ballast is directly derived by the Bureau of Indian Standards(BIS) from the corresponding International Electrotechnical Commission Standards (IEC). Till date, there is no Electronic Ballast adhering to the Indian Standards in full in the Indian market, in spite of the market presence of nearly all the major global lighting manufacturers. Further, there is no Electronic Ballast in the International market adhering to the corresponding IEC standards; the ones from which the Indian standards have been derived way back in the year 1991.

This High Energy Saving Electronic Ballast Technology adhering to the aforesaid standards is presented in three versions (Version 1, 2 and 3). The Total Harmonic Distortion (THD-Phase A Current) of Version 1, 2 and 3 is 2.4%, 1.3% and 2.9 % respectively, and their Total Harmonic Power (THP) is 0.002 Watt, 0.001 Watt and 0.004 Watt in that order. The new version 3 has Unity Power factor (PF= 1) and Unity Differential power factor (dPF=1).All versions of our Electronic Ballast Technology has Active Power Factor Correction (Active PFC).

 


The Proposal:

The outright sale/transfer of this highly cost effective Electronic Ballast Technology, as an exclusive transaction, to a single international corporate business house, who can exploit the full global market potential of such a kind of pioneering technology. Necessary application for the grant of patent for the aforesaid technology has been filed with the Indian Patent Office with Application No. 472/CHE/2005 dated 25-4-2005. Exhaustive Prior art search has been made by our Attorneys with regard to this invention, before the filing of the patent application.
